On May 22nd, our team traveled to Tauragė for Verslo Genas 2026 — one of Lithuania's leading business competitions — and came home with 2nd place in the Innovative Business category.
We Hit the Road and Came Back with an Award
On May 22nd, we packed up and headed to Tauragė for Verslo Genas 2026 — a business competition organized by Lrytas, now in its 10th year. We're proud to share that we took home 2nd place in the Innovative Business category.
For a young team from Kaunas working on rockets, drone defense, and atmospheric technologies, being recognized at an event of this scale genuinely means something. We don't take it lightly.
The People Made It
Trophies are nice. But what we'll actually remember are the conversations.
Meeting other founders, trading ideas over oysters (yes, oysters — we were surprised too), and hearing about the projects other teams are pouring themselves into — that's what made the trip worth it. No performance, no pitching. Just people talking honestly about what they're building and why.
That kind of energy is rare, and Verslo Genas delivered it.
Lithuania Is Building Something
We often joke internally that our projects punch above our weight class. Counter-drone optics, cloud seeding systems, proprietary rocket propellants — for a seven-person team, the scope is ambitious. Events like this remind us we're not alone in thinking big.
Lithuania is full of technical founders doing serious work with serious intent. The ecosystem is growing, and the support — from communities, organizers, and fellow builders — is real.
Thank You
A sincere thank you to Lrytas for organizing this event for a decade, and to everyone we spoke with in Tauragė. The conversations stuck with us.
Now — back to work.
